RTT® is beyond hypnotherapy, but hypnotherapy itself is NOT dangerous or scary. Your body and mind are simply guided into a calming state of relaxation where we can have a discussion with your subconscious mind. It's an excellent way to establish and fix the problem's root.
Always choose a registered therapist, that you feel comfortable with, who will ensure no harm can come to you.
RTT® reaches parts of the subconscious brain that other therapies can't, and it only takes one (1) to three (3) sessions, per issue, to achieve the desired results. Sessions run from 1-3 hours per session. It will include an intake conversation where you and your therapist get to know YOUR NEEDS and together figure out where YOU SEE YOURSELF in the very near future.
You are then eased into a light hypnotic state where we will do guided visualization and a conversation begins to take place with your subconscious mind. That's where the change happens. You are aware of what is happening and can bring yourself out at any time. You are safe. Your conscious mind will be at rest while your sub conscious mind finds all of the answer. Many find it relaxing and empowering.
Each session is followed up with a 10-25 minute audio recording, made specifically for the your individual needs. The therapist then prescribes that you to listen to that audio 1-2 times a day (or as often as you need) for 21 days.
REMEMBER - It takes 21 days to form a habit and up to 66 days for a new habit/behaviour to become automatic. You can expect to feel some changes immediately or within hours, days and weeks. As long as you stick to the schedule of listening to the audio at minimum once (1) per day, you will find success. Once that success starts to take place it is up to you to continue making life changing and altering decisions and steps to continually better your experience.

Hypnosis is a process. During the 21 days of healing, your "old" brain will be trying to prevent the new suggestions from staying. This fight, to hang on to the old habits and behaviours, can cause anxiety and stress. By listening to the audio recording in those moments that feeling should subside quickly. For most people the switch goes smoothly and positive changes can be felt nearly immediately.
